The dissection of the bouquet begins as I start to pull it apart. Two bouquets now instead of one. This photo is actually a crop from this photo http://wildelifephotography.com/Photography/2010-Other-Photo-Favorites/11036388_g4rW3#772106812_feG7Y that was taken as a homework assignment for adding reflective light. There are quite a few of these yellow mums that were hiding in the back of the original bouquet picture.

Thank you all so much for the comments yesterday.

Day 2 of bouquet. A macro of the big orange flower.

A little bit of color. So tired of cold, so tired of white outside and so tired of winter. Stopped at Costco and spent $15.99 on a burst of color. The challenge now is, how many days can this bouquet provide me with new and exciting photo opportunities.
WildeLifePhotography > 2012110 138/365 Jan 21/10 Oh Canada, eh.

A macro of a small maple leaf embroidered on the back of a cap.

This was taken from the back of the yard at work. The transmission lines against the blue sky was what I originally planned to do. I then found this fence post and realized what perspective can do to an object.
WildeLifePhotography > 2011910 136/365 Jan 19/10 Hangars

Hangars in a store window. Converted to B&W and tried to do a little PP using the plastic wrap. Not sure if it work, or I should have left it as taken. Looks better at larger sizes than a thumbnail.
WildeLifePhotography > 2011810 135/365 Jan 18/10 Ice Sculpture

One more favorite from the ice festival. I laugh when I look at this as I tried all summer to get a refraction in a water drop. Without trying or even thinking about refraction what shows up in this one? You can see the ice castle and trees in the top ball. Now I'll probably spend the summer looking for a very large raindrop. The complete set of Ice on Whyte festival photos can be seen here http://wildelifephotography.com/Events/Ice-on-Whyte/10974157_UWox8#767034327_FqTk8
WildeLifePhotography > 2011710 134/365 Jan 17/10 Ice Sculpture

An ice sculpture from "Ice on Whyte" in Edmonton. This was my first time photographing ice. Challenging but rewarding.
WildeLifePhotography > 2011610 133/365 Jan 16/10 Side lighting

Once again inspired by Sam(tylwyydd) I chose this Scotch bottle and glass for side lighting. As the bottle has never been opened I didn't want an empty glass sitting beside it, so I tipped the glass. I was pleasantly surprised by the color of the Scotch reflecting in the bottom of the glass.
